Our Legacy & History
August 1973
Modest Beginnings
With little more than determination, a dream, and a freshly minted dental licence, Dr. Ron Arndt opened the doors to a brand-new practice on Sugar Ridge Road. WIth less than 600 square feet, zero patients, and only a handful of dental instruments, the office’s beginnings were truly modest. Dr. Ron served as doctor, receptionist, maintenance, and cleaning crew in the quiet rural town.
A Growing Practice
From those humble beginnings, the practice began to grow, built on a foundation of personal trust, genuine care, and a steadfast commitment to excellence. A few years later, the practice moved to a larger space on Center Ridge Road where Dr. Ron expanded the team by welcoming both an orthodontist and general dentist associate.

1986
The practice entered a new chapter when Dr. Ron’s brother, Dr. Scott Arndt, joined the team. Together they expanded services, extended office hours, and built upon a reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care.
Dr. Scott Arndt
Dr. Scott served North Ridgeville and the surrounding communities for 39.5 years, along with educating Kindergartners in the North Ridge City Schools for over thirty years. Dr. Scott founded the Max Arndt Scholarships for senior North Ridgeville students applying for health care careers in college.
Dr. Ron Arndt
In time, Dr. Ron, armed with an MBA and two decades of clinical experience, was recruited into a second career, leaving the daily care of patients in the trusted hands of Dr. Scott. For nearly four decades, Dr. Scott carried forward the family legacy and continued to serve generations of North Ridgeville families.
2025
Passing of The Torch
As the community continued to grow, so did the practice’s reputation for outstanding services and patient-centered care. When Dr. Scott retired in December of 2025, he did so with immense pride and confidence, passing the reins to Dr. Nate Harris and Dr. Kayla Bomske. Together, they carry forward a proud tradition of clinical experience, innovation, and genuine compassion for every patient who walks through the door.
What had started as a one-man operation on Sugar Ridge Road to the most recognized dental practice in North Ridgeville, the story of this dental practice is a story about people, trust, community, and a half-century commitment to helping others smile brighter every day.
